Contact spring production technology _ contact spring welding _ Application of contact spring in GIS:
The finger spring refers to the annular coil spring wound by wire for conducting electricity. It is usually wound by 0.1-2.0mm copper wire with an oval section. Compared with the plum contact and surface contact and other conductive structures, the finger spring has the following characteristics:
1. Simple structure, small volume, low cost.
2. Simple equipment, small assembly workload, no need for special tools.
3. Large allowable deformation, low machining accuracy for contact seat and conductor.
4. More contact points, good electrical conductivity.
5. It is easy to change the structure for different traffic.
Because of these characteristics, it has been widely used in gas insulated metal closed switchgear (GIS).
